What I believe about working with people:
In psychotherapy we work together on your goals.
I work from a strengths based perspective, helping you build on your
strong points and deepen your self-awareness, exploring possibilities
for growth and change so that you can live a happier and more satisfying
life.
My Clients:
My clients are dealing with the range of human
issues. Many are facing anxiety or depression, or working through a
life, career, or relationship transition. Some are handling HIV, cancer,
or other chronic illness. Still others are seeking further personal
growth,or exploring spirituality,
I work with individuals and couples (relationships) . |

About Insurance:
Mine is a fee for service practice. I
believe your treatment should be between you (the client) and me (the
provider). If you choose to use insurance, the insurance company often decides the terms of treatment.
Also, once an insurance company possesses diagnostic information about
you, neither of us has control over how that information is used or
how confidential it remains. I am an Anthem Blue Cross of California provider.
If you do wish to use other insurance, I will provide you with monthly
statements indicating how much you have paid for my services each month.
You can submit these to your insurer. You should, however, verify beforehand
that your insurance will cover my services.
Note:
My psychotherapy practice is face-to-face only.
Because of the limitations of state licensing regulations, I do not
offer therapeutic advice through email nor do I practice psychotherapy
online. The best way to contact me for more information or to schedule
an appointment is to call me at 760-898-4581.
My private practice is not an appropriate resource for emergency crisis
intervention. If this is an emergency and you need to speak with someone
right away, please call 911 or go to your local hospital emergency room.
My Logo:
The sunrise over mountains is a metaphor for the
therapeutic process as I see it. Life presents each of us with challenges
and opportunities. Sometimes the path can be difficult and it feels
as if we are climbing mountains in our lives. The sunrise is the promise
that every journey, no matter how difficult, has possibility within
it. I believe that as we grow in our lives, the challenges become opportunities.
The therapeutic process is work and the reward is the hope of deepening
and integration in our lives. |
